AS: Real Madrid will let striker leave but Milan trail Wolves and Eintracht Frankfurt in pursuit

Luka Jovic will leave Real Madrid in the January market but it seems AC Milan are behind two other clubs at the moment in the race to land him.

Updates have arrived through Spanish outlet AS (via MilanNews), who confirm that Real Madrid have given the green light to the loan of the Serbian striker, as head coach Zinedine Zidane would not oppose his departure.

Milan are interested, but the management of the LaLiga side see some problems related to the presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, because the Swede has his starting spot locked down and therefore Jovic could have his potential playing time drastically reduced.

There is no shortage of alternative options though as Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers are keen, with them looking for a striker who can replace the injured Raul Jimenez, while his former side Eintracht Frankfurt are also in the running to bring him back.
