AS: Star defender Hernandez wants to stay as Milan ready renewal – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Theo Hernandez had received some criticism prior to his performance off the bench against Venezia. Once again, he showed just how important he can be for AC Milan in the attacking phase, bagging a 1+1 in the game.

The Frenchman will play from the first minute in the Rossoneri’s clash against Spezia this afternoon, with kick-off set at 15:00 CEST. And if we look further ahead, Milan intend to renew the contract of their defensive star.

As reported by Spanish outlet AS, Hernandez has made it clear that he wants to stay at the club for a very long time. The negotiations over a renewal are yet to start between the parties but they will soon, which is good news.

Hernandez is very happy with the club, knowing full well that he has maximum support from both Stefano Pioli and the management. He’s now just waiting for the offer from Milan, with the intention of staying for a very long time.
