Ardon Jashari’s first season at AC Milan has certainly not been a walk in the park for various reasons, but it feels like he is back on the right track.
As Tuttosport (via MilanPress) recall, the negotiations between Milan and Club Brugge for Jashari dragged on for a couple of months and it seemed like there were times the deal was off. Then, his first six months in Milan were a bit of a rollercoaster too.
Jashari’s climb starts
The fractured leg that Jashari sustained in training at the end of August halted his initial adaptation, as he was out for more than two and a half months. He officially returned to the field at the end of November and is gradually working his way up the pecking order.
Massimiliano Allegri is aware of the qualities and potential the Swiss has, but in front of him is Luka Modric, a Ballon d’Or winner who at 40 is still controlling games. In Jashari’s case, there’s nothing to do but watch and take notes from one of the greatest of recent years.

In his recent performances, however, the former Luzern star has certainly shown a great deal of desire, grit and personality. These are the perfect ingredients to impress Allegri, and were on display in the 20-minute cameo against Bologna last Tuesday.
It is possible and understandable that he might have felt the weight of the €38m price tag in early appearances, especially after recovering from such a difficult injury, but now we are starting to see the real Jashari.

He looked really good in his last outing. I’d love for him to start more games especially VS Pisa in the light of a quick turnaround the week after. I’d play Athekame too – give him more minutes. Up front, Der Panzer and Frenchie. Rest Leao and Puli longer.
Are there any news on Bennacer future maybe? Of course Mr. Wheelchair D’Or got injured during his loan at Dinamo Zagreb, classic Benny move, went to play AFCON not recovered, got injured there. Are we going to release him, is there any chance that we could sell him? Due to a lot of midfielders in the team now, i don’t believe he has a future with us. I’m not sure that there is much interest for him due to his injuries, but if anyone has an info on him, thanks in advance.
1 year left, but his time with Milan is done. We won’t sell him (no-one would buy or cover his salary) but wouldn’t surprise me if we cut a mutual termination deal of some sort.
With time he will get it full chance
Jashari is quality player
Jashari is quality player no doubt he will take over from modric soon
he should realize his great chance,
for now he backed by SD, Alegri trust him & Modric as mentor, hope he isn’t another Gourcuff
