Nkunku, Gimenez, Leao etc were reasons why the team tanked, they couldn’t stay healthy or score consistently…so why would anyone sign them permanently when they couldn’t perform and with only one competition at that for the season? Missed out on CL in a weaker of the top 3 leagues while being ahead most of the season, red flags everywhere for buyers.
Obviously they can only move for a loan with an option to buy, or obligation to buy tied to performances, that will be 30 to 40 million for Leao. Lacks pliability and is emotionally immature, lacks professionalism.
13 to 14 million for Gimenez, he barely scored in a year and is barely worth more than a promising, very young prospect, at an advanced age who flopped in a more difficult setting. Injured and useless to the team…
Nkunku can fetch 18 to 23 million with performance bonuses, he scored some goals at least and in his first season, came back in shape, healthy. He also is looking like 3 years of production in best case scenario.
