Rafael Leao has made his bed and his sheets are no longer the colour of AC Milan. Instead, they are blank, waiting for a new option.
As the season came to its conclusion, Milan and Leao were only heading towards a break-up. Indeed, the Portuguese and the fans lost faith in each other – as was displayed at San Siro – and the relationship looked tough to save.

Then, there were the three interviews which made his own intentions clear. He wants out and fair enough, when done correctly. However, Leao’s way of going about the situation was wrong and it may prove to be costly.
Indeed, the interest so far has been minimal.
Leao out, gem in
So far, Manchester United and Arsenal have had exploratory talks with the Rossoneri about Leao, but they have never gone further. Now, Tuttosport reports that Aston Villa have held similar talks, maybe fuelled by Morgan Rogers’ departure.
Leao wants a top club and so he is not too keen on the offers from Saudi Arabia and Turkey. However, the Villains would fit that profile and could save the summer for the star. Though that would not be the only aid.
Indeed, a move for Leao – again, their interest currently is not formal and interest is only exploratory – could open up a move for Konstantinos Karetsas, who has made the Diavolo his priority this summer.

With Al Hilal hijacking Summerville transfer to Roma and Aston Villa turning their attention to Garnacho there are even less teams interested in this bum. He might end up staying at Milan which is the worst outcome of all.
I guess Turkey is the last hope for Milan.
“Leao wants a top club” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sure, they all lined up for him.
Maybe this will give him a reality check and humble him a little. He’ll be an awesome sub when the other team is tired. I don’t know how he’d operate in this new system tho with pressing required from everyone. I still think a loan with an option to buy is our best bet. His salary is too high to be on the bench.
8 millions euro per season sub lol. What a time to be alive
I’m almost certain he’s not going anywhere! Amorim will eventually be forced to keep him in the team until the end of his contract. I don’t know what his attitude would be if he were sitting on the bench and how his presence would affect the team, but I simply don’t see a solution to this situation in such a way that someone could buy him for the kind of money we’re asking for. Maybe I’m being too pessimistic, but I can’t help but feel that he’ll end up leaving for free.
You’re not being pessimistic, you’re realistic
Remove this cancer asap.
Move this fool away from our dear club
If he doesn’t get a deal, he’ll be motivated to try harder in order to rebuild his rep. It’s a win-win situation. If he plays on the left with a good striker, he will shine.
LOL. You’re a dreamer, eh? Next you’ll say Milan will win the UCL back to back in 2028-2031 and Leao getting the Ballon d’Or every year?
At some point, his transfer price will drop to a level where it’s a no-brainer for a company to sign him. Sadly, it may have to drop to 40m eu to make it attractive for a Villa or someone else to want to sign him.
