AC Milan have held further talks with Aston Villa about the potential sale of Pervis Estupinan, according to a report.
While he is currently enjoying a post-World Cup vacation, seems that Estupinan’s future lies far from Milanello. Just a year after arriving from Brighton, the Ecuadorian full-back could return to the Premier League.

Aston Villa are particularly interested in the player, seeking reinforcements after Lucas Digne was sold to PSG, who met his release clause. The latest updates were reported by transfer market journalist Fabrizio Romano on his YouTube channel.
“Pervis Estupinan is a target for Aston Villa and is on a shortlist of three names. We’ll then see who the English club decides to push forward with,” he said (via MilanNews).
“Aston Villa have also had new contacts with the player’s agents in the last 24 hours and are working on the player: the terms and conditions need to be worked out.”
A report from Spain suggested that Deportivo La Coruna had entered the race to sign Estupinan. However, Villa are the ones leading the charge, and it would see the former Villarreal man link back up with Unai Emery.
For Milan, the important thing is to cash in, having already spent around €100m on the signings of Goncalo Ramos and Mario Gila to begin the summer.

Good riddance!! HOPEFULLY next to follow: Musah, Bondo, Chukweze, Fofana (the fofo), Odogu, Leao & Gimenez.
RLC has been unfortunate with injuries which caused him less and less playing time and a way better and stronger player than that fofo, honestly.
Same for Jashari, unfortunate with the injury but personally I prefer Ricci, biiiiig time. Ricci, I hope he doesn’t get sold but kept and used properly along with Comotto, who is an incredible talent and must never be let go. Gabbia must never be let go either, never! And it’s Gabbia who should and must be the captain, not Maignan (kudos and respect to Maignan).
What a bunch of crap.
You prefer your crap, dontcha? To quote Revolt: “sell baby, sell” or “ sell, sell, sell”. We should definitely put you in the starting 11, eh? My words, my opinion. You don’t like it, then buzz off. It’s an open platform and I’ll say what I think. Period. You have anything argumentative to say? Say it. If not, keep your crap to yourself, matey.
I’ll say it again:

Fofana Fofo? Keep RLC at the expense of Fofana?
RLC is a way stronger and better player? Insane…
Let’s all pray for Aston Villa to get Estupinian, a guy impersonating our bresilian legend Emerson Royale ! Whoever signed these two with AC Milan should be sued
Hahaha nice one. Honestly, I’m 100% with you.
Theyve apparently bid €15mn
This is chump change for PL side. Looks like a deal will get done.
Honestly this guy wasn’t such a bad player at Brighton… Was it injuries? Tactics? Pressure of playing for Milan? I honestly don’t know but even Gimenez was a decent striker at Feyernood till he got here and suddenly didn’t know how to control a ball. A case can be made for Nkunku too. I don’t kniw what it is but these guys come here and their careers take a nosedive.
It takes only an open minded person to observe this.
It’s definitely tactics and I’m glad someone finally asked this question. He’s not a bad player, I hate that most of our players are being judged by the awful tactics-less season under Allegri. A proper coach like Unai sees something in a player we’re trying to throw away after one season ? Allegri killed most of our players last season and the fans are too blind to see it. They just wanna sell everyone and then complain about limited bench when the season starts. Smh
The last season killed a lot.
tbh, it already began when Pioli left. But the last season was … I don’t want to talk about it *lol*
“I don’t kniw what it is but these guys come here and their careers take a nosedive.”
Finally someone observed this too. thanks.
thank you Dindudre. I agree, part of it is tactics, part is pressure, part is league style. This is why i also take players from Chelsea or ManU as terrible/washed out with a grain of salt. It’s crazy to think players do well in one club and suddenly forgot how to play or make a pass.
Valid points indeed, I agree. But Feyenord or Brighton and AC Milan? Big difference of course and bigger pressure I’m sure.
Remember, Ariedo Braida used to say: “is he worthy of Milan?” when scouting or assessing a player.
Let’s all of us ponder on that for a while.
*Feyenoord
Estupinan did not play badly. He is actually better defensively than Bartesaghi who literally cost Milan points with his mistakes. I say give him another season, he will get better, you know just like Tonali did.
25m pls
All these players arent half bad. Alegris tactics were the problem. Id say we keep estu for 2 reasons, needs more playing time, can better adapt to Amorims style. Barta does not reallt have the attacking prowess required and playing him as wingback naah. Id make him adapt to the 3 man defence then we sign another starter LB/LWB with Estup his back up.
as for the midfield, Fofa can leave. he is struggling to get better even with alot of playing time. too inconsistant. RLC can leave too, too many injuries. the rest can stay.
One guy who will shock us under Amorim is Nkunku, watch that space.. he will have a top season.
