Atalanta have resolved internal doubts and have decided to try sign Yunus Musah from AC Milan in the final part of the window.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) confirms that Atalanta will accelerate their pursuit of Musah. Negotiations with the Rossoneri have been ongoing for a few days, and we have entered the waiting phase after the initial discussions on offer and demand.

Where things stand
Milan’s starting valuation is around €30m, while Atalanta could aim to close for around €25m. In short, the gap is so small that it’s reasonable to expect the deal to close positively within the next 24-48 hours.
Given that we’ve entered the final ten days of the summer transfer window, time is running out. This is also because Musah has already made it clear he’s happy with the destination, as knows he’ll have more playing time in Bergamo than in Milan.

Massimiliano Allegri is still a factor though: the Milan coach still considers Musah a valuable asset due to his flexibility and a great example for the team due to his hard work and dedication. These are qualities which also led to La Dea wanting him.
His versatility allows him to play both in the two-man midfield and on the right flank in a 3-4-2-1. However, his potential acquisition would be primarily intended to add physicality and pace to central areas. The American would be a regular rotation partner with Ederson and Marten de Roon.

Go w trend like this just as we r going to top 5 haterz
You’re on the wrong website. Top 5 is Atalanta fan dream.
ACM CURVA SUD must recognize ACM is not politics and just sports. Calcio mustn’t politics too
Milan give Atalanta headless chicken in exchange for 25mil… I wonder who’s the winner in this deal….🤔
We’ll probably end up regretting this deal as much as the Lazetic one last week. Or the one where we sold Nasti. Who? Exactly. 😀
But as soon as Musah has a good game or, God forbid scores a goal, some people will start crying about what a mistake it was to let him go 😅
I don’t think you need worry about the goal scenario
😀 😀 😀 😀
And you know it will come against us.
Who has been the better team at talent evaluation for the last many years? That is right, not Milan. And look at what happened to CDK.
I’m talking about this deal. Not past deals. Not CD freaking K… This deal.
Then let him go and do well. If he’s as good as some people think he is and he can find a permanent role under the right coach, then I wish him all the best.
He’s had 2 years to prove he’s an asset to us and he’s failed.
This.
Musah is the same with thiaw.
Once a club is knocking at the door suddenly fans claiming these players are full of potential.
As if these fans never went for their heads during last season when they made error after error.
Well, to be honest Filippo Terracciano is also “a great example for the team due to his hard work and dedication” but it doesn’t mean that he’d be any use on the pitch. We got rid of him so why not part with the other deadwood as well? And for that kind of money??? TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN!!! FAST!!!
Musah + Okafor money for Lookman…
Rabiot-Bennacer swap…
2nd star incoming…
I mean if we were to get Lokman or Dusan now we are doing extremely well and have better squad then last season even with €230m sales, Tara has paid for his wages and Allegri’s and filled the whole created from no euro footy
merda tears will be a huge bonus
No discount for Atalanta. 30 milion CASH, now. Take it or leave it.
Exacly stop making gifts for our competitors. Petmanent sale for ca 30 milion or keep musach.
He’s trash, but worth 30 cash.😁
Well if you say he’s trash, then he must be trash. Surely these professional coaches and scouts don’t know as much as you and these other rando “experts” in the comment section of Sempre Milan.
Meanwhile we will probably get the same amount of money for Musah as we did for the supposed “best LB in the world.” Shows how much the people on here know about talent.
just like SAF once said “Anderson has potential become Gerrard & Ronaldinho combine”.
what we saw here Musah done error more than good pass/ assist/ goals. he can follow CDK path but here Musah just being Musah no matter how much game time he has (Adli & CDK wish being him here but unfortunately they are not American)
Please just send him out to EPL. Stop feeding our rival clubs.
Loan him to Atalanta and loan Djimsiti or Lookman back from them. Like we did with Salemaekers/Abataham to Roma. No regrets for anybody
Take it and run, he’s so bad!
Don’t sell
I’ve also read he is going to his medical with Napoli in June.
Wow you can read? That’s a first.
Don’t sell to a Italian team it will be a mistake Milan regret twice a year
If anyone actually watched the Bari game, you would have noticed that Musah has a very controlled performance, without his signature surges forward that had no end result.
In his defense, in the last two years he had no one single position he played and was w*ored around by 3 different coaches doing *uck all.
Allegri would be a good person to stabilize the kid and give him set parameters on the field. Unless of course Max is open to cut him.
Yes, what actually happens on the pitch is irrelevant at this point. People have made up their minds already so even if he goes out there and has a solid performance people are still going to say the same tired lines, “he’s a headless chicken”.
If they don’t like a player they are going to see every little mistake and overlook the good, and vice versa, if they like a player they won’t notice the mistakes .
Not at all comparing Musah to Modric, but just to make a point. Modric turned the ball over a few times in the Bari game with a couple bad passes and probably should have shot the ball when he chose to pass it in the box, but every article is talking about his “majestic performance.” They focus on the good moments he had and overlook the poor ones.
Where every time Musah turns it over or has a bad pass, that’s all they focus on and will overlook the good things he does, breaking the press with his dribbling, his tireless defensive work. He’s the new whipping boy. Best for him to move on at this point.
ding ding ding…he asked for a move after last season, the fans clearly hate him and are so focused on his mistakes and not his qualities when hes 22 (younger than Jashari and Ricci). Conti wanted to bring him to Napoli and he was marked untradable last year only to sit on the bench the first 3 months of the season before they needed him to play Madrid..best for him to go somewhere new…should probably go to the EPL…if you noticed in the Bari game he was held from behind twice when trying to create transition opportunities. Two yellows. Those are calls he gets in any other league.
Wow, yet another team looking to take Musah! Let’s see, Napoli, Forest, West Ham Chelsea, now Atalanta?? All this interest in this forum’s most despised player??? No way!!! Making me think the headless chickens have usernames in this Forum.
Sell
Milan needs 1 more striker than a midfield bench player
ACM need CB ?? Just swap yunus musah with scalvini in atalanta, both club will be happy
