AC Milan are still interested in signing Ruslan Malinovskyi from Atalanta after they thought of an attempt last summer, a report claims.
Malinovskyi is the star man again for Atalanta at the moment having netted 9 goals in 29 games across all competitions so far this season, and the Ukraine international scored a fantastic brace in the Europa League last night against Olympiacos which showed that he is in exceptional form.
According to Calciomercato.com, the 28-year-old attacking midfielder is now regarded as a top-level player by a lot of top-level clubs who may well come circling in the summer given that he is only under contract until June 2023.
Milan remain interested in him which is no surprise given that Brahim Diaz is the only real number ten in the team at the moment, and the report mentions that last summer Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara thought of him as a potential replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu who left for Inter.
