Athletic: Real Madrid midfielder ‘had an offer from Milan’ but ‘did not even consider it’

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan made an offer to Real Madrid playmaker Isco but he rejected their advances, according to a report.

Milan have been consistently linked with a number of different targets for the role of attacking midfielder, and Isco is one that continues to pop up as he appears to be out of the plans of Real Madrid.

Fabrizio Romano (via MadridZone) recently reported that the Rossoneri have indeed been offered the chance to sign the 29-year-old but the management are evaluating different profiles for the role so Isco is not a priority at the moment.

According to a report from The Athletic, both Isco and another outcast in Gareth Bale have been back working under Carlo Ancelotti without any problems and without causing any drama. However, the report also revealed some interesting background information.

“Isco had an offer from Milan, but he did not even consider it,” the report states that a source told The Athletic, inferring he is happy seeing out the final year of his lucrative contract.
