Bucchioni: Maldini makes Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix a ‘dream’ summer target

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have made Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix their summer ‘dream’, it is claimed.

Enzo Bucchioni told TMW that Maldini and Massara have very clear ideas in the event that the new ownership – be that Investcorp or RedBird Capital – are willing to make the budget available to bring in a big name that would instantly increase the quality of the attack.

There is a ‘dream called Joao Felix’ suggested by those involved in the transfer market, because the Portuguese international is not central to the plans of Atletico Madrid at the moment and the LaLiga giants would be willing to sell.

Atletico would not say no to an offer of €70m as per the journalist which is obviously quite a large investment and would represent a record fee, but Diego Simeone has also set his sights on Paulo Dybala to replace Joao Felix.

  1. Dybala already been sweet dream. Joao!?? Maybe a good dream inside the sweet dream.. yeah.. I hope it came true.. anyway.. whoever it is.. forza milan!

  2. ELIOT MANEGMENT,MILAN C.E.O ,TECHNICAL and SPORTING DIERICTOR are all stingy men they won’t even cash in, even if they get a discount for 65 million to sign joel felex. That is one of the reason we lost hakan cal.

    1. @Mato. Lost Hakan? Hakan isn’t really even that good. Always goes missing in big games and is terribly inconsistent. On his best day hes good, nowhere near world class, and on his worst day hes Serie C class if even..
I’m glad we got rid of him, paying average players like him is what had destroyed our economy before elliot.

  3. Why dont full force to sign Free Agent “Paulo Dybala”? Despite throw up €70m for someone who need adapt to serie A..

    1. Because he is younger and I’d say already better. New owners goal will be to get to the top, not pick up scraps anywhere they can. If there is a way to get Joao Felix I will donate a 1000€ of my money to get him.

  4. LOL even we can’t afford dybala, how can we afford joao felix. Journalist made a money from the big news, but please be rational

  5. Who knows what we can and cannot afford YET with Investcorp. Time will tell. But I don’t think, based on reports, that we will be under the same financial restraints as with Elliot. So perhaps players that were once unimaginable like Felix – will now be possible. Yes he would be a dream signing to pair with Leao…we will see. Felix, Nunez, Nkunu, Marhez, etc…who knows what the new transfer policy will be and how much $ M&M will have to spend. If we are to be like Man City then sky is the limit. Exciting times just around the corner…

  6. Unless AC Milan income equal or just 80 percent from real Madrid income ,this wont happen with current AC Milan income. Even if we can pay transfer fee, Felix salary 15m euro nett/ years would be big problem thats why ATM want to replace Felix with player lower salary like Dybala ( only 10m euro nett/ years) . Just waiting anto vitiello,di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano for transfer rumour

      1. Do you compare PSG that have total salary more than 450m euro / years with AC Milan total salary just 90m euro / years? PSG funded by state nation . AC Milan new owner just Investment corporation,of course they cannot allow huge loss . Don’t get me wrong , i would like AC Milan have all star team like PSG too but we live on reality world that money don’t come from sky. But i still believe we can pay player like Asensio/Mahrez/ziyech/nkunku/botman/Darwin Nunez/Dominik szobolai/Charles de ketel/milinkovic with new owner because their salary below 9m euro nett ( some of them have high transfer fee) . But realistic we cannot pay player like Sterling/Felix/Gabriel Jesus/Bernardo silva that was rumoured with us because their asking salary higher above 12m euro nett

  7. These journalists are high on some serious stuff. They have tough jobs, fill pages and posts on.the internet with “news”, both verified and totally hilarious ones. This story is one for the top drawer! Total hallucinations produced this info

    1. One guy gives a random rumour and they all just copy paste that. Oliver is on the soft side as well, I think he tried to block my IP from accessing the site because I am not that snowflaky as him. 😀
