Simon Kjaer’s injury has certainly changed the situation at Milan, now looking for a centre-back to sign in January. Having said that, it’s not the only serious injury the Rossoneri have been forced to deal with lately.
In the last six months, as highlighted by Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), there have been six surgeries within the Milan squad. It’s clear that Stefano Pioli hasn’t always had the easiest of circumstances during his tenure at the club.
Prior to Kjaer, who underwent his surgery on Friday, the likes of Davide Calabria, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mike Maignan and Alessandro Plizzari were also forced to surgery. Even though recurring injuries can be discussed, this is still bad luck.
On Tuesday, Milan will take on Liverpool and fortunately, they will have a pretty strong team to rely on. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the only striker available, though, and if he gets injured then it will be a crisis.

It is not luck. It is a constant problem this and last season. Med team needs improvement.
Bayern reportedly have best med team and manage not only to keep Lewa uninjured, but also in top shape. Like Milanlab used to do with Stam.
