Tuttosport: Midfielder expected to leave Milan as Monza and Newcastle show interest

It could very soon be one in and one out for AC Milan’s midfield department as Tiemoue Bakayoko has two admirers, a report claims.

As reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), there was a meeting yesterday at Casa Milan with Bakayoko’s intermediaries and the Rossoneri management to talk about the future of the Frenchman.

Bakayoko is currently not in the plans of head coach Stefano Pioli as seen by how little he was used last season and the fact he has not been in the fold this season so far either, so the most likely solution is the early termination of his two-year loan from Chelsea.

There are two clubs that have come forward and expressed an interest in signing the former Monaco man in Monza and Newcastle United.

However, the paper adds that Bakayoko will only leave if a new midfielder arrives, and that should be Aster Vranckx from Wolfsburg over whom negotiations are progressing.
