CM: Bakayoko saga continues as Adana Demirspor could walk away from deal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan were hoping to be able to find a solution for Tiemoue Bakayoko but once again he is dragging his feet over an exit, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com report that Bakayoko is ‘keeping Milan anxious’ as Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are waiting for signals from the player, who has a sizeable offer from Vincenzo Montella’s Adana Demirspor on the table.

The events of this week have been almost like a TV drama. On Wednesday afternoon Bakayoko informed his entourage of his willingness to accept a move to Adana Demirspor, who were offering him a three-year contract at €3m net per season.

Then a sensational turnaround arrived yesterday evening as the former Monaco man made the request for another 48 hours to reflect. Now the Turkish club seem to have lost patience and could turn to other targets.

This would of course be yet another major disappointment to the Milan management who are hoping for a solution that can allow them to save about €2.5m gross in wages on a player who is yet to make a single appearance this season.

  1. Milan is so bad in transfers. Paying for unusable players, and sending best players for free. Bakayoko, after success in Monaco, was benched in Chelsea and Napoli, but our leaders swap him. That guy take a lot of money for ATM just for travelling and warming up the bench. He still have big contract in Chelsea, so hi will be with us until summer.
