Tiemoue Bakayoko is all set to complete a return to AC Milan and a social media post from the midfielder seems to have confirmed it.
As Fabrizio Romano reports, Bakayoko is set to join Milan from Chelsea on an initial loan deal with an option to buy set at €20m. He only wanted to join the Rossoneri from the start as per the journalist, and Chelsea will also extend his contract until June 2023 to facilitate the loan.
Bakayoko spent the 2018-19 season on loan with Milan under the then head coach Gennaro Gattuso and while the Rossoneri decided not to use their option to buy that time, he has been linked with a return in both summers since and now it has turned into a reality.
The Frenchman will provide some much needed depth and physicality for the midfield in what will be a very demanding season for Milan. Meanwhile, Bakayoko has let everyone know his return is close via Twitter…
