Mundo Deportivo: Barcelona set sights on Milan star Leao plus Chelsea duo

By Oliver Fisher -

Yet another report has emerged claiming that AC Milan winger Rafael Leao is attracting the interest of Barcelona ahead of the summer transfer window.

As reported by the Mundo Deportivo (via SempreMilan.it), Barcelona want to bolster their attack when the window reopens and they have drawn up a list of four targets including Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner of Chelsea, Patrik Schick of Leverkusen and Rafael Leao.

The Portugal international has 8 goals and 4 assists in 24 league games so far this season and 11 goals overall, and he is considered a cornerstone of both present and future of Milan. His valuation is no less than €50m for this reason and that is the only figure that would make Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara sit at the negotiating table.

However, the club know that losing Leao at such a vital time in the project would be far from ideal and that is why there are rumours of a renewal and a pay rise for the former Lille man.

  1. Bye Bye Leaoooo🤣 you Guys believed him when he said he wants to become a Milan legend🤣 nobody wants that, he wants trophy’s

  2. Im fairly sure milan wouldnt entertain any disgusions of a transfer if a club came offering 50 mil. Add to that barcelona is in a great financial turmoil so how would they even be able to offer an ammount that propably currently will be closer to 75-100mil than to 50 mil.

    1. Dembele free transfer at the end of season because his asking salary 20m euro / season rejected by Barca. I don’t believe Barca can buy leao since leao still have 2 years contract and still full price

  3. 50m is disgracefully low, in today’s market 80m should be minimum for a player like him. If Sancho is worth that much why not leao.
