Sport: Barcelona join Milan and Manchester City in pursuit of Monaco teenager

AC Milan face competition in their bid to sign Monaco midfielder Mamadou Coulibaly on a free transfer, according to a report.

Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com reported that Milan want to repeat their Pierre Kalulu coup by signing the 17-year-old Coulibaly, having presented their project to his family and his entourage and with the player ‘fascinated’ by what was put forward to him.

However, Sport are reporting that the Rossoneri are not the only club to hold interest in the teenager because Barcelona are also on his trail. They have had success with signing young players like Pedri and Araujo who have established themselves in the first team.

The club’s scouts have been active and they see Coulibaly as a real market opportunity after excellent reports. Manchester City, Juventus and Tottenham are also mentioned as being keen, but he is on the Blaugrana radar and the player will soon make a decision regarding his future.
