Former AC Milan captain has pledged that the club will soon return to fighting for trophies on the European stage as well as domestically.
Baresi was a guest of Milan Club Crotone last night, and he spoke about the newly formed club and also the 2021-22 season which saw Milan return to being champions of Italy for the first time in 11 years.
“It is a recently born Milan Club, a pity for the two years of pandemic and for this difficult moment. However, I saw great enthusiasm and great participation. It will become an important club like many others,” he said.
“I saw great affection for me. Milan is a faith, a strength; this year we have received a great satisfaction, we will slowly become great again in the international field.”
