Baresi praises Milan and Napoli ahead of the crucial clash: “They play beautiful football”

Tomorrow evening, AC Milan will take on Napoli in the 18th round of Serie A., hoping to bounce back from two games without a win. However, injuries will make it difficult for the Rossoneri.

Several key players will miss the game but on the other hand, the same can be said about Napoli. Therefore, the game tomorrow will be very interesting as it could make for interesting betting choices, which can be found on sites such as tha bookie.

In addition to the already injured players, Theo Hernandez has struggled with a fever all week and it appears he’s more likely to miss out. Alessio Romagnoli has also had a slight fever but he trained with the team today, per the latest reports.

In an interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, honourary president Franco Baresi spoke about the game. He praised both sides ahead of what should be a good game to watch for both sets of fans.

“Let’s start by saying that we are talking about two teams who play beautiful football, who always seek the goal and play well at football. Having said that, our victory would send them to 6 points behind and it would be an important coup.

“Now there are many teams with just a few points separating them. So I will just say that Milan must believe in it and play like in the last period. Maybe a couple of games have gone wrong, but we have shown that we are competitive and ambitious,” he stated.

Indeed, it won’t be an easy game for the Rossoneri and Stefano Pioli made his goal clear for the final two games of the year. He wants to be the tally that they set back in 2020, collecting 43 points in the first half of the season.

“We are having a very good first round, there are still two games left. I would like to overcome last year’s 43 points. Tomorrow’s opponent has great qualities and has an excellent coach, we certainly need to raise the level of the performance.

“Napoli have a very dynamic midfield. The tactical key is quality in the gesture and in the decision-making. We must focus on our style of play. As long as the advantages outweigh the risks we must continue like this,” he concluded.

We can only hope that Milan will respond to the recent criticism with a strong win tomorrow evening.
