AC Milan have big shoes to fill at left-back, and Pervis Estupinan has not filled them just yet. So, with his suspension, someone else will have a go.
The thoughts of Theo in this team are interesting, even puzzling to some. However, they are dreams that will not come true. Instead, there is a new era at left-back, and two can fight for the position, it seems.

Pervis Estupinan, until now, has been trusted with the primary spot. Nevertheless, he will miss the trip to Turin through suspension, which he picked up against Napoli.
Not Theo, his own man
Now, as this morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport writes, Davide Bartesaghi will be given a chance, only a few months after he could have left Milan, in a summer where interest was and still is high. At 19 years old, he looks above his age on the pitch, with a calmness and personality found in those more senior than him.

He is ‘not the new Theo’, but he doesn’t need to be. Those close to him describe him as determined, someone whose only focus is on home and football. Chances have arrived before, but this is undoubtedly the biggest.
The club believes in him, and that was seen with a 2030 renewal, which arrived last year. Now, he can begin to repay that faith, and what a time it would be to start.

Great player with big talent
We can only hope he is not the new Theo. Last year’s Theo was un-interested, lacking motivation with huge lapses in defending and w/o his amazing offensive input. Theo at his best was amazing, but alas, he wasnt for big parts of the season. We can only hope Bartesaghi becomes a solid, consistent, dependable left back.
Theo-baiting
A new term minted by SempreMilan.
I wonder if it will go on the writers CV.
I am going to avoid any articles with Theo mentioned in the headline now.
Sigh
Mạnh mẽ lên chàng trai.
i’ll be happy enough if he can reach (peak deSciglio/ Calabria) level, as an reliable & consistent player
