Davide Bartesaghi’s stellar campaign for club and country continues, as he got a pair of assists in Italy U21’s 4-0 win over North Macedonia.
In recent days, Bartesaghi spoke about his dream to stay at Milan for the whole of his career and also to become a full Italy international. Well, he did his chances of achieving the latter no harm in another excellent display for the Azzurrini on Thursday night.

He got two assists on the night playing as a left-back, and the first was a joy to watch as he skipped past a man and delivered a pinpoint cross for Ndour to head home. The second was a simple lay-off for Lipani’s strike from just outside the box, but they all count.
The Milan academy graduate should have had a couple more assists too. He whipped in a great corner that was headed onto the crossbar, while he put in a teasing free-kick that was met by a head but didn’t generate enough power.
