BeIn Sports: Milan close to completing signing of Marseille star with €37m market value

AC Milan are close to completing the signing of Boubacar Kamara from Marseille, according to the latest reports coming from France.

L’Equipe (via MilanNews) reported recently that Milan are willing to put €12m plus bonuses on the table to land one of their major midfield targets in Kamara, despite the fact he is valued much higher by sources like Transfermarkt (€37m).

Journalist Romain Canuti then claimed that Milan have ‘seriously approached’ Boubacar Kamara and the midfielder beginning to ask himself if it is worth continuing his career in Serie A, implying there is a temptation on the part of the player.

BeIN SPORTS France are now reporting that the Rossoneri are close to buying Kamara from Marseille. Last season he played a total of 42 games across Ligue 1, the French Cups and the Champions League.

He has been a starter at Marseille for 3 seasons but could now look for a new experience given his contract expires in 2022 and there is nothing to suggest a renewal is imminent. With Sandro Tonali also set to join, it would give Milan a midfield of top quality and potential given Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer are also present.
