Belgian journalist on Milan target Lang: “When he’s fit, best player in the Belgian league”

A Belgian journalist has said that AC Milan transfer target Noa Lang is the best player in the Belgian league when he is fit.

Speaking during an interview with Milan News, DH Les Sport+ journalist Christophe Franken revealed some details about the young forward that the Rossoneri are supposedly very serious about purchasing this summer.

He clearly thinks extremely highly of player born in 1999 as he labelled him the best in the Jupiler league.

“When he is fit, he is the best player in the Belgian league. Excellent technique, very fast, goal sense. He is adored by the Brugge fans and hated by all the other fans in Belgium because he has a sense of spectacle and provocation.”

He also said that he is like Neymar in terms of his technique and hairstyle and he even said that Radja Nainggolan has gotten angry with his hot-head attitude at times.

“In gestures and technique, he looks a lot like Neymar. Also in the hairstyle. His father is an artist and that shows in his personality. But sometimes he is capable of stepping out of his game or making a bad foul because he is angry.

“He often receives silly yellow cards. Radja Nainggolan has often criticised him for this (even during the last Antwerp-Bruges game, when Brugge were champions).”

Lang did not manage to win player of the year in Belgium and Franken feels that his divisive nature could be why.

“Perhaps that is why Lang was not voted best player of the season: he is too divisive as a player and as a personality. But in absolute terms, he is a player who has all the right cards to win at AC Milan.”

It is thought that Club Brugge would want a fee of around €22 million for the forward but Milan would like to pay a lower figure than that.
