CM: Belotti continues to hold Milan dream as Maldini weighs up his options

Andrea Belotti still has his heart set on a move to AC Milan as the mystery surrounding his future at Torino continues to create headlines, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com begin an update on Belotti’s future by recalling what he said after the game against Genoa: “I’ve always been clear and I’ve always said that this was a situation that I wanted to evaluate at the end of the year to understand everything together with the club and the manager.

“I’ve been here in Turin for seven years: I want to understand everything, from ambitions to goals. This has to be an important decision for me, I have to make it right. If there is a chance that I can remain? I have always given a chance.”

In the coming weeks, Belotti will speak with Torino’s management including president Urbano Cairo, director Vagnati and also with head coach Ivan Juric and he will try to understand if Torino really have a serious project that can materialise in a short time, then he will decide whether to renew or leave.

Belotti has never hidden support for the Rossoneri and that is why Milan remain his favoured destination. He could fulfil a dream of playing in the Champions League as well as fighting for the Serie A title too, but Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are awaiting an answer from Zlatan Ibrahimovic on his future.

If they do not decide to go for Liverpool’s Divock Origi, the other opportunity to get a free transfer to bolster the attack in the coming season would be Belotti.
