AC Milan still have their hats in the ring for Andrea Belotti but the striker is expected to take time over the choice of his next destination, a report claims.
According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, Belotti is destined to leave at the end of the season when his contract expires as the negotiation over the renewal of his deal is very unlikely to be a successful one. Despite offering over €3m net per season plus bonuses, president Urbano Cairo’s bid for the striker to extend remained on the table, unanswered.
If Belotti were to change his mind and decide he wants to stay with the Granata, he would have to sign a deal for around €2.5m per season because the original offer had a deadline. The injury that has been keeping him out for a few weeks is further complicating an already difficult season, and now a difficult decision on his future awaits.
Many clubs are taking an interest such as Milan, Napoli and Fiorentina, all of whom are waiting for the choice of the 28-year-old.
