Bennacer a perfectionist after Napoli win: “We shouldn’t have given them so much space” – video

AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer praised his team-mates for a ‘great team victory’ after Sunday’s 3-1 win over Napoli.

The Rossoneri – led by stand-in head coach Daniele Bonera – registered their first win away in Naples in 10 years as a Zlatan Ibrahimovic brace and Jens Petter Hauge’s first ever Serie A goal propelled the team to an impressive victory and put them back top of the league.

After another great performance, Bennacer spoke to Milan TV about the game with his comments transcribed by MilanNews.

“It’s a great team victory. We did well, we suffered but we won and this is the most important thing,” he said.

“We shouldn’t have given them so much space. Then they played with the two strikers, it was tough, but we managed to do well.”

On Ibrahimovic, he added: “In every match he shows that he is a great player. We try to do the best we can, during training he always asks us for great professionalism and to raise our level”.
