There is a new suitor for Ismael Bennacer, who is not a part of the plans of AC Milan’s new head coach Massimiliano Allegri.
Bennacer returned from his loan spell with Marseille in the second half of last season as they chose not to use their offer to buy. However, rather than getting a clean slate under a new coach, it seems Allegri has already decided not to keep the Algerian.

Turkey awaits?
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) this morning, there appears to be a new club in for Bennacer, who has rejected the offers from Saudi Arabia that have arrived in recent weeks.
Besiktas have set their sights on the midfielder, who is free to leave the Rossoneri on the right terms. The sticking point is the formula, as the Rossoneri don’t want to loan him out again, but rather sell him permanently.
In recent weeks, Marseille – the club where the former Empoli man played on loan for the second half of last season – tried to get him back in another loan deal.
They received a rejection from the directors though, because as mentioned the aim is to find a permanent solution and not to defer the issue again.

If it means to pay less for him every year, just loan him at this point. You can’t have everything and getting a penny for him seems less and less likely.
Not many clubs are interested in getting a forever injured player whose contract expires in 2 seasons in a permanent fashion and Bennacer doesn’t seem too hot in going to the Saudis, so just take whatever comes at this point.
Why don’t we keep him? Yes his injury prone but honestly can we afford to pay to upgrade him? Is Jashari honestly better than fully fit bennacer? Allgeri already turned fortune of thiaw, okafor etc around. Bennacer when we won Scudetto was one of the best mids in Europe linked with manc and Barca. Instead of looking at offloading him we should try to help him get back to his best. Rotating with Ricci, modric and RLC would be very smart.

In Bennacer and Adli situation is choice for both players that they can play anywhere and gain money. And not just wait for Milan.
Fair point but in modern day, we’ve lost loyalty and patience. Bennacer has proven himself and is a quality player. Reoccuring injury was because he was rushed back to play for Algeria, he also had a unlucky injury last year. Instead of building him up we gave up on him. Not long ago he was untouchable for us. That’s point I’m making. We keep looking for new players and forget we have quality already in this squad. I rather have 60% fit bennacer than Jashari.
Jashari is the best player in that league and can become the next Modric, Bennacer has achieved nothing
If a club doesn’t want you anymore, they can do this. Then you would be doing yourself a disservice by turning down other moves because your career as a player is finite …
What does Bennacer want? His performances haven’t attracted any interest from more elite clubs, and the last club that took him decided not to cash in on him…
So what’s he holding out for? He’s frustrating himself.
Yet apparently several clubs have made loan offers for him, including Marseilles, it’s Milan refusing.
Imagine if this were the other way around and we had the opportunity to take the oft-injured player on loan instead of buying; we’d say it was the smart choice.
From what I’ve seen, he only refused the Saudis (which is very understandable).
It seems that it’s Milan that doesn’t want to let go of him for something that is not a permanent transfer.
