AC Milan’s hopes of offloading Ismael Bennacer have been dealt another blow, as he has rejected a move to Trabzonspor.
Bennacer spent the second half of last season on loan at Marseille after recovering from a serious muscle issue, but they chose not to exercise their option to buy him permanently and thus he returned to Milan.

It was made clear from day one of preseason that the Algerian was not considered a part of the plans of the new coach Massimiliano Allegri. Despite this, and several links with several clubs, his exit is yet to materialise.
No to Turkey
In recent days, it was reported by Matteo Moretto that the Turkish market might hold the key. Trabzonspor had tabled a proposal and Bennacer was reflecting on the idea, but now his negative answer has arrived.
Fabrizio Romano writes: “Ismael Bennacer keeps rejecting a move to Trabzonspor after proposal sent last week. No agreement with AC Milan midfielder at this stage, but the proposal is still available on the table.”
If Bennacer remains beyond the closing of the markets that are currently still open, a season in the stands potentially awaits, all while picking up a rather high salary of €4m net per season.

I thought Benny was suffering at Milan? Whatever dude gave up on Milan a couple years ago and now gets to enjoy an easy paycheck. I’d make him play futuro games though no free meals at Milan 😂
He can’t play with Futuro because he started too many games with the first team.
We’ll have to keep dealing with him until his contract ends.
Benny is now Origi part two. Let’s see if Milan can persuade him to terminate contract mutually or pay him off half to cut him out this year. I don’t want him to be disappeared and wandered around Italy or somewhere else like what Origi did.
Boban coming back to help Milan take Benny away on load at Dinamo, even though its temporary.
Hopefully he can stay fit and find form in a less demanding league and Europa League. Should then increase the interest in him and be sold next summer to help win the budget scudetto
