Berlusconi “has a plan B” should Chinese sale fall through

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi told TeleRegione Molise that he still believes the time is right to sell.

“I think it’s time to leave, it has been 30 years already, I am the president who has won the most in football history. I must fulfil my ultimate act.”

“Now, in football the money of the oil rules, the prices are impossible, they have offered €15 million per season to Ibrahimovic”, the former Italian Prime Minister added.

“We are in talks with a group of Chinese investors and funds, we know their names, they are good people.”

“If the negotiation will fail”, he ended, “we have a plan B: I would be forced to stay, and I will build a team with many young Italian talents.

“We have Donnarumma, who is 17 and who is a great goalie; we would need our fans to be patient, but in football it’s difficult: the fans don’t always remember what you have done in the last 30 years.”
