CM: Bernardo Silva, Joao Felix and Rafael Leao – how Mendes plans to transform Milan

AC Milan are already looking at the summer mercato, and it seems super-agent Jorge Mendes will be heavily involved on the incoming and outgoing front.

In the January window, Mendes was involved with Milan somewhat extensively. Before the month began, the Rossoneri were aware of a request from Rafael Leao’s entourage for the agent to find him a move away.

Then, you have the incoming of Sergio Conceicao – who is on the books of Mendes – and also the arrival of Joao Felix – who campaigned for a move to Milano to work with Conceicao, though this was also apparently influenced by Mendes.

Moving forward, Mendes’ involvement is likely to continue as Calciomercato.com suggests.

Today, the site states that he is ‘already working’ on some arrivals for the summer. Antonio Silva’s name headlines the list, and the Diavolo took an interest in January with Fikayo Tomori being an interest for many clubs.

More importantly though, there names of Marco Asensio, Bernardo Silva and Joao Felix apply. Mendes wants to ‘move’ the former duo ‘in’ to Milan in the summer, whilst Felix’s future requires a ‘major effort’ from the management.

Then, Leao’s future will also be looked at. Despite being at the centre of the project, Mendes has a ‘clear goal’ of taking him to Barcelona, but the winger wants to ‘write the history’ of the Rossoneri before even considering a departure.

    1. Don’t worry Leao knew he won’t be an all season starter with the Blaugrana, those latter aren’t that stupid to bet on an overhyped player

    2. Because like all agents, he’s a diabolical human who thinks only of his own pay day and not the player….agents are the biggest disease in football

      1. I do not understand, why players need agent? When change club, hire lawyer to make contract. I think, agents can not ask for more than 1% from player transfer. UEFA has to make some better rules about this. Agents make lots of money from clubs and player, but has no expencess. Club invest in players and when transfer occur, agents blackmail them and take millions. But, as we know, UEFA is full of rats who cares only about their pockets.

    3. Where is Mendez when Leo was not in starting eleven for Acmilan and also wasteful with is skill and pioli decided to develop him and make him recognized all over the world with us potential
      Even in Nigeria

  1. Yeah Barca who is facing a court case to register Dani Olmo will pay 175m for Rafael Leao, even with a 50% discount they cant afford it

  2. Raphinha plays on the LW at Barcelona and he is better than Leao. So the Leao links to Barcelona makes absolutely no sense. Smh

    1. I don’t think Raphinha is better. More consistent yet, but Rafa’s ceiling is higher than Raphinha’s…all we need from Rafa is consistency

      1. Raphinha is zillions of times better than Leao, both in performance and talent. Raphinha’s talent consists of more than running and dribbling.

  3. Mendes needs to f@ck off…he’s getting too involved. I wouldn’t take Bernardo now, he’s a wonderful player but his time is gone. Our midfield should be focused around Ricci, Fofana and Reijnders with Musah, Bondo as the back ups. Going forward I’d sooner bring Liberali more into the fold than bring in Bernardo. We have a good balance now with Felix coming in.

  4. The too part says Rafa’s entourage was asking for him to leave and then at the bottom it says Rafa wants to write history with Milan. What am I missing here? Lol

  5. Fcuk, man. Mendes is the last person Milan need to get in bed with. If he gets a grip on Milan with multiple players then effectively he’I’ll be the one calling the shots on the market.

  6. Why can’t we invest in Italian players? Tonali would be a great addition 😩 wish we could get him back! I wouldn’t mind Luca Ranieri as a CB

    1. They. Are. Not. Good. Enough.

We’re linked with Ricci, and he looks good, but other than that, the Italian talent is lacking these days.
