Journalist labels Origi as ‘perfect’ and gives Milan advantage in one key area in title race

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are battling with their rivals Inter for the Scudetto and everyone connected with Italian football is being asked for their thoughts on who will emerge victorious.

The Rossoneri are continuing to fight for the title with the Nerazzurri and though Milan are currently top, Inter’s game in hand is tomorrow against Bologna meaning they could leapfrog and take outright first place. If you’re a betting person, 888 review is the place to go for a flutter.

PianetaMilan have interview the journalist Fabrizio Biasin to get his thoughts on what could be one of the closest title races in many years in Serie A.

Is there really a slight favourite between Milan and inter?

“Absolutely not. I never believed it.”

What do you feel like responding to those who put Inter in a position of absolute advantage?

“In my opinion, this year more than ever, the Scudetto fight puts two ‘different worlds’ in opposition. Milan, in terms of squad, may seem slightly below Inter, but in terms of character they have shown that they have very hard skin. On more than one occasion, among other things.”

What factors could lean more towards Milan?

“Milan are the product of a perfect tactical application, that of Stefano Pioli. Furthermore, if I have to mention a characteristic that makes Milan the ‘favourite’: I would highlight the fact that the Rossoneri never give up. The victory against Lazio is the clear demonstration of this.”

Is it a Milan that needs to intervene on the transfer market, regardless of the possible victory of the Scudetto?

“Yes, Milan needs a striker I quote again the match against Lazio: how much did Milan create? How hard did they struggle to score?

“Giroud is a great striker, but that’s not enough. At Milan he needs a striker capable of 20 goals this season. Once you have got that, you build everything else around.”

What is the most obvious prospect for this and for Pioli’s game?

“Origi is perfect.”

Some object to the fact that he is a reserve for Klopp’s Liverpool…

“Being a reserve at Liverpool is very different than being a reserve in Serie A. For me, someone like Origi would raise the general level of Milan. Not only in terms of implementation…”

Would you give Dybala a concrete thought like rumours have suggested?

“Dybala, if physically at the top, would be good for anyone, Pioli included. Furthermore, he would serve as AC Milan have never actually replaced Calhanoglu. I’m not saying they are two identical players, but Dybala on the frontline would be ideal for Milan.”

What should Ibrahimovic do?

“What he feels like doing, in total serenity. If Ibra decides to continue playing for Milan, it must represent an added value. The Rossoneri have to do their mercato regardless of him. Ibra can make an impact even in just ten minutes: look what happened with Lazio…”

Could the changing of ownership have repercussions on the dressing room?

“No, without a shadow of a doubt. On the contrary: Pioli could come out reinforced. Remember what happened during the first lockdown? The current Rossoneri coach was going to be replaced by Rangnick 100%. The rest seems to me to be history.”

    Perfectly said….

  2. After seeing how Ragnick has performed at united i am so glad he never came to us.

How different could it have been for us?

  3. Rangnick already fail at MU with many expensive player,it is good AC Milan Dodge rangnick bullet. Origi reserve in Liverpool but compete with mo salah,Firmino, jota,Mane,Luis Diaz. While in AC Milan he compete with 2 old striker Ibra Giroud, lord saladmaker that only score 2 goal in 2400 minute play, Rebic that often injury. I think Origi can have play time at AC Milan

  4. Origi + belotti + dybala. That should be our new attack trident. We need to add speed, creativity & punch to our attack.

    1. If Dybala stays fit, totally agree, plus all are free, if on big wages. Its about time we started to benefit from Bosman. If we have the money id get Lingaard too as he can play in the middle and on the right.
