AC Milan will once again be backed by another big crowd on Saturday night as they look to bounce back with a win against Torino.
Even though the defeat against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night has dampened Milan’s dreams of catching Inter, the Rossoneri fans are not giving up on the team and will show up again in their droves to support Massimiliano Allegri’s men.
According to what was reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanPress), over 72,000 fans are expected at San Siro for the game against Torino. In fact, a look at the seat map for available tickets shows that the game is already sold out.
There will also be a lot of Granata fans at the Meazza. Up until yesterday in the away section, over 1,500 of the 1,905 available tickets had been sold, but between now and Saturday they could all be sold out, with enthusiasm building under Roberto D’Aversa.
The large crowd continues the trend for Milan this season, confirming their position as the team that brings the most fans to the stadium in Serie A with an average of 73,043. Over one million fans have come to the stadium for Milan’s home league games this season.
