Two big wins conclude pre-season for Milan – 27 goals scored in total

AC Milan concluded their pre-season earlier today with the friendly against Serie C side Pergolettese. It was another big win for the Rossoneri (7-1), after the 6-1 win against fellow third-tier side Vicenza last night.

Less than a week remains until Milan will take on Udinese in the season opener of the 2022/23 campaign at San Siro. In the last few games, the Rossoneri have shown that they are ready for the clash, even if there are still things to improve.

Stefano Pioli’s men played a total of seven games this pre-season campaign and they scored an impressive 27 goals in the process: 3 against Lemine, 2 against Köln, 2 against ZTE, 5 against Wolfsberger, 2 against Marseille, 6 against Vicenza and 7 against Pergolettese.

That resulted in six wins and one loss for the Rossoneri, who conceded five goals in the process. Today’s friendly was of extra value as many of the reserves got the chance from start, including De Ketelaere who bagged a hat-trick and Lazetic who scored a brace.

  1. Yeah against shit teams, nice that the confidence is there but I don’t give anything about Koln, Wolfsberger, a Marseille side that even my Dutch side here could beat and fk Vicenza, nice those goals but all teams apart from maybe Marseille don’t say anything

    1. We’ve been better than every Italian side during preseason by far. I don’t know what your problem is but we look sharp and solid for the new season. You’re acting like we are Torino or Genoa. Rather change your nickname and go support PSG or Man City as you should. Thank you. Goodbye
