Bild: Milan battling Spurs for €17m German international; €60m Leipzig man also a target

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are interested in SC Freiburg’s Robin Koch as they look for defensive reinforcements this summer, according to a report.

It is no secret that the Rossoneri are in the market for a long-term partner for captain Alessio Romagnoli, and a number of names continue to be linked such as Celtic’s Kristoffer Ajer.

According to BILD, Milan are interested in signing Robin Koch from Freiburg, who has a market value of around €17million.

Spurs are also interested in the German international, but the arrival of Ralf Rangnick as Milan’s new boss could be decisive. With the German manager ready to greet him, it would be easier for Koch to move abroad than elsewhere.

In addition, Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic is a target (valued at €35m, as per Calciomercato.com) while RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano is also an option, but he has a release clause of €60million built into his current contract.
