Bild: RB Leipzig make Milan target available and set asking price of €15-20m

RB Leipzig have reportedly made one of AC Milan’s attacking targets available, and potentially for less than €20m.

Milan are on the hunt for the attacking midfielder to replace Hakan Calhanoglu but they are looking for both the right player in terms of characteristics but also the right economic conditions, given that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have already completed €60m worth of operations in the current window.

Among the players who have been repeatedly linked is Marcel Sabitzer of Leipzig, as the Austria international’s contract is set to expire at the end up the 2021-22 season leading to speculation he could leave for a cut-price fee.

According to reports from Bild (via MilanLive), the 27-year-old has ended up on the market together with striker Alexander Sorloth. The German source reports that Leipzig would be satisfied with a figure between €15-20m to sell Sabitzer, but a loan cannot be accepted due to his aforementioned contract situation.
