Bild: Werder Bremen reject Leipzig bid for €25m-rated winger; Milan and Hertha still keen

By Oliver Fisher -

Werder Bremen have rejected an offer from RB Leipzig for winger Milot Rashica, a report claims, amid speculation linking him to Milan.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reported earlier in the week that the first department to be reinforced by incoming boss Ralf Rangnick will be the attack, with Rashica one of the two names mentioned.

The paper added that Rangnick likes the Kosovo international a lot due to the fact he can play as a winger or an attacking midfielder, while Tuttosport (via MilanLive) added that Milan have lodged enquiries both with the player’s entourage and with Werder.

According to Bild – as cited by BuliNews – Werder Bremen have rejected an offer of €15million plus €3m in bonuses for the Kosovo international as they are holding out for €25m.

Milan and Hertha BSC are mentioned as having interest in Rashica, who made 34 appearances in the 2019-20 season, racking up 11 goals and eight assists as his side avoided relegation in the play-offs.
