Indeed, it seems difficult to see him playing top-tier football as he enters what should be the prime years of his career.
Nevertheless, there would still be interest in the midfielder, despite the problems that have consistently overshadowed his career.
Bennacer’s Croatian journey could continue
Reports have suggested that there would be no interest from Dinamo Zagreb in utilising their buy-option in the loan deal for Bennacer. However, he could still head back to Croatia this summer with Zvonimir Boban explaining that they are his best option, as Daniele Longo relays on X.
“We want to keep Ismael Bennacer, but we’re waiting for him to resolve his contract with Milan. If he sorts out the matter with the Rossoneri, we would be the ideal team to continue his career.”
Whether a resolution will be found between the parties will be seen over the next few weeks…
