Bodo/Glimt winger Jens Petter Hauge has seemingly confirmed that a move to AC Milan could well be on the cards for him.
On Friday morning we reported exclusively about Milan’s interest in the Norwegian youngster and that the Rossoneri are expected to make a serious move for the player in the coming days, having already contacted Hauge’s agent.
According to Fabrizio Romano’s latest update on Twitter, Milan are ‘confident’ of completing the deal for Hauge in the next few days. The agreement with Bodø Glimt is now getting closer and ‘the player is keen to join Milan’. He adds that his famous ‘Here we go’ is expected next week.
Gianluca Di Marzio did claim that there is competition from other clubs such as Manchester United, RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg, however the player seems to have given his approval regarding a move to Milan.
“I know there are contacts. They liked what they saw when we faced them,” he told NRK.
“They play a type of football where I can enjoy myself. It is an exciting opportunity that must be considered and taken seriously. The offer will have to please the club. I want a team where the chances are good to play and a coach who has faith in me.”
