Bologna sport director follows Massara by denying talks with Ibrahimovic

By Oliver Fisher -

Bologna’s sporting director Riccardo Bigon has denied that they have ever had negotiations over a move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

As we revealed late last month, Ibrahimovic is Milan’s main target for the January transfer window to help a team which has scored just 13 goals in the first 14 rounds of the season.

There appears to be confidence that Milan can get a deal done, as SportMediaset (via MilanNews.it) recently reported that the two parties are getting closer and closer in terms of offer and request.

Il Corriere della Sera even claimed on Sunday the dream of the Rossoneri leadership is to present Zlatan on December 15 at the club’s 120th birthday party.

Milan’s sporting director Ricky Massara denied being in negotiations with Ibrahimovic before the win over Parma though, and now Bigon has followed suit by pouring cold water on the Bologna links.

“They are more media voices than internal to the company, there has never been a real negotiation with Ibra, or a movement by the club. The problem is not the attack, we just have to be more concrete,” he said (via MilanNews.it).
