Milan defeated SPAL 2-0 yesterday evening and have so far collected 12 points out of 15 possible in Serie A. Club captain Leonardo Bonucci contributed to the win with a clean sheet alongside Cristian Zapata and Alessio Romagnoli at the back, but calls for caution and more hunger ahead of the next games.
“Three good points, which must makes us even hungrier for results. However, we have not achieved anything yet. From tomorrow we will already start thinking about Sunday to repeat today’s result and continue improving,” the Milan captain wrote on social media after the victory against SPAL.
Bonucci has so far started in every game and has been on the pitch for every minute since his debut for the Rossoneri against Shkendija in the Europa League qualifiers back in August.
His presence on the field both in terms of quality and leadership has been felt and with the team’s transition to the 3-5-2 formation, he is showing the best of his qualities.
