Leonardo Bonucci was interviewed by Sky Italia after his side’s 2-0 loss to Arsenal in front of the home crowd.
On the game: “In the first half a bit of fear took over, anxiety. Experience is key situations like this.”
On the return leg: “It’s difficult, but in football everything can happen. If we go to London with the spirit of the second half, however, we can get a good result.”
What he missed: “We lacked the courage to take the responsibility, both in possession and in completing the passes. In the second half, we did better.”
On the mistakes: “We made a lot of mistakes technically, even in the first half we were too anxious, in the second we dared more and did something good, in these matches we need courage.”
