This season, even if not finished yet, has been a huge step in the right direction for Milan. Massimiliano Allegri and his staff have helped create a foundation that the Rossoneri have been able to fall back on, while there is also a lot of optimism for the future.
However, everything hinges on the manager remaining for at least one more season. While many perhaps expected Allegri to be a short-term solution, that never meant that he would come for just one year; at least two was always the thought.
The recent rumours about an exit this summer, as such, have definitely worried the Milan fans (and rightfully so).
