Francesco Camarda will soon be announced as a new Lecce player, and a report has revealed the details of some bonuses.
Camarda arrived in Lecce on Sunday ahead of undergoing a medical and signing on a season-long loan deal. As La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanPress) confirm, he will sign on loan with an option to buy set at €3m and a buy-back in the Rossoneri’s favour at €4m.

The paper also reveals the inclusion of some bonuses in the deal related to the appearances and goals that the teenager manages to rack up. Each appearance will earn the Salento club a base of €75k, while for each goal €100k is expected.
These details certify how the two clubs are seriously aiming to enhance the value of Camarda and give incentives for him to play. Interestingly, the Italian will replace a former Rossoneri player – Ante Rebic – in the squad.
Corvino gave an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport and he gave a brief comment about Camarda, suggesting that the head coach Eusebio Di Francesco will have no problem playing him anyway.
“I’ll just say one thing: you shouldn’t take Camarda’s age into account. For me, quality has no age,” he said (via MilanNews).
Well, those bonuses are showing great trust in the player and great incentive for Lecce to use his services. They can potentially get 2M just from playing him as a starter for half the matches…
The FIGC and Serie A should be offering these type of bonuses to clubs who play Italians.

Ignorant. When Series A were on top back in 90s and early 2000s, there were stricter rules re: Italian players. But until recently, FIGC had stupid growth decree rules which was to attract established world class players with higher salary, but they was also applied to youth players, and clubs simply bring young players around the world, rather than develop their own.
According to some, Milan is careless and so one. They do not care about their academy players….
This shows great care, and I am happy to see it. I would have loved for Camarda to have shown a bit more, but every player matures differently. It is unfair comparison to say Yamal… he is one of a kind
I am somewhat relieved with this information. Hopefully it works well for all invovled parties and it can be a future blueprint for our future generation who needs playing time in Serie A but has no room in the current squad.
