Today, AC Milan lost to Virtus Entella. However, not a lot will be taken about the result, as it was mainly a test.

The lineup for today’s game was a mix of everything: experience and youth, the Futuro and the Milan team. Of course, the eyes were on the stars of the first team, and how they would fare in what was essentially a fitness test.

Nevertheless, it was also a chance to see how some of the younger players could perform alongside players who are worth millions.

Help from the pros

Among the Futuro players, Chaka Traore stood out, and he assisted Emanuele Borsani, who spoke to MilanTV this evening about the game and what it meant to score, as MilanNews relays.

“I’m really happy. Even though it was just a friendly, it was wonderful to play with professionals who play in Serie A. Playing with them certainly helps me grow and helps me with my future.

“Fofana, Jashari, and Pulisic helped me a lot before the match. They told me how to do certain moves. I’m happy that they’re helping me and helping me improve.”

Pulisic was given the armband today, and whilst he admitted to Paramount+ that he was a quiet leader, he certainly played the part well today, something which will only impress Massimiliano Allegri.
