The decision by Bosnia head coach Savo Milosevic to call Rade Krunic up for the internationals they will play in October has caused some confusion.
Krunic suffered a muscle problem during the 1-0 victory against Hellas Verona at San Siro on Saturday and after a scan it was determined that he would be out for around a month, as per various reports.
Despite this, he has been called up by Bosnia. Speaking in a press conference, their head coach Milosevic spoke about his decision to call up for former Empoli man despite the fact he must recover from a hamstring injury.
When asked for the reasoning, he said (via PianetaMilan): “We have had news that he could be ready for those dates.” By ‘those dates’ the new Bosnia coach is referring to the matches against Lichtenstein on 13 October and against Portugal on 16 October.
In short, Krunic could be available to play in a couple of weeks if Milosevic is right, which is a lot shorter a recovery time than the month previously thought.
