Di Marzio: Botman contacts less fluid as a €20-25m alternative appears for Milan

AC Milan are in the market for a new centre-back and there are two names that stand out above all in their list of targets, a report claims.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan want to buy a central defender due to the increasingly probable departure of Alessio Romagnoli, whose contract with the club is about to expire thus leaving a gap that needs filling.

Starting with Sven Botman, the Dutchman remains a concrete target but contacts are now a little less fluid than in recent months, but there is an alternative option that has always been mentioned and could return in a concrete way.

That player is Gleison Bremer of Torino, and even after his renewal with them he could leave for around €20-25m this summer as the club will grant his request to leave. Inter also like the Brazilian defender and have a verbal agreement with the player, but they cannot close the deal at the moment due to their finances.
