Tuttosport: Botman hopes fading for Milan as six alternative targets remain

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have not given up all hope of signing Sven Botman from Lille but it is fading fast, so a list of alternative targets has reportedly been established.

According to what is being reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Botman remains Milan’s first choice to reinforce the defence while Fikayo Tomori and Simon Kjaer are out injured, but the chances of signing the Dutchman in January remain very slim.

That is why the management are aiming to begin work tomorrow on other tracks, and from there is should understood whether it will be possible to sign one of Eric Bailly (Manchester United), Abdou Diallo (PSG) or Japhet Tanganga (Tottenham) on a loan deal.

In addition to that, Porto’s Chancel Mbemba was offered to Milan through his entourage as his contract expires at the end of the season, while there are younger profiles such as Nicolo Casale (Hellas Verona) and Maxime Estève (Montpellier) that are still held in high regard.
