AC Milan’s potential new owners Investcorp are willing to make investments this summer to significantly strengthen the squad, a report claims.
According to what La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) are reporting this morning, Investcorp seem willing to launch into a statement market immediately to continue the path of Milan’s resurgence.
The paper believes there is a chance that Elliott could retain a stake worth €100m in the club so those €100m would be saved by Investcorp and could be reinvested immediately in the next summer mercato.
The main objective is to become competitive also in Europe in addition to Serie A, and the first signing should be Sven Botman from Lille because the negotiations are already advanced, which in itself shows that Maldini and Massara are at the centre of the new project.
A new forward should arrive in addition to Divock Origi with Gianluca Scamacca, Marco Asensio and Sebastien Haller all in the sights because Investcorp’s second major target is to ensure that Milan go back to being one of the biggest brands in world football.
If they want to be big brand again should sign Darwin Nunez, not Haller or Scamacca.
Why are we linked with one season wonders one of which actually wants to play for Shinter?
If we have that much money actually.. Lets go for Darwin Nunez?
But I will trust Maldini’s judgement on that front.
