Athletic: Midfielder decides to leave Marseille amid repeated links with Milan move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been boosted in their reported pursuit of Boubacar Kamara as he has decided not to entertain the idea of extending his contract at Marseille, a report claims.

MilanNews reported last month that Kamara has been in the sights of the Rossoneri management for a long time given the contract saga surrounding Franck Kessie. They also stated that player is actively pushing to move to Milan via his agents, and the interest in mutual because Maldini and Massara like him.

According to what is being reported by The Athletic (via MilanLive), the 21-year-old has decided not to renew his deal and to leave Marseille at the end of the season in search of a new adventure.

Pablo Longoria has repeatedly professed to be in talks with the entourage of Kamara to try to prolong the agreement, but now it seems his mind is made up and he will look to leave the club in search of something new. All that remains to be established is whether Marseille look to cash in during the January window.
