Romano: Bournemouth expected to close gap with Milan for Jimenez – the fee required

This evening, AC Milan could have a deal done for Alex Jimenez’s departure, according to a recent report.

There have been several clubs interested in Jimenez, but the big stumbling block was that Milan did not want to accept a move with a permanent clause, like Napoli had tried earlier this summer. However, when Como came forward after the Cremonese defeat, there had been a change.

No longer were the Rossoneri closed off to the idea; instead, they were ready to discuss the possibility, and this is where Roma also began talks. Though neither of the two Italian clubs will get the Spaniard. Instead, he is destined for the Premier League.

Jimenez: Destined for England

The game against Lecce was a clear signal: Jimenez is not a part of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans, despite the coach stating there were no problems. Perhaps this is due to the advancement of talks. However, Santiago Gimenez still started despite rumours of his future.

A deal with Jimenez, in fairness, is much further ahead, though. Nevertheless, there remains an issue to solve.

Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, via MilanNews, report that new talks are set to start tonight to resolve the problems.

“There will be new contacts between the two clubs this evening to reach a conclusion on the deal. Bournemouth are playing their home game against Tottenham and will resume talks with the Rossoneri management after that match.

“The deal is expected to be between €2 and €3 million. The deal is expected to be a loan with an option to buy the player, which becomes an obligation under certain conditions.”

    1. Even so. Do you think EPL is a place to develop a player technically? Spain yes. Germany yes. Italy for sure is better place fir his development. But these money mongering management want to cash in big and bring cheaper alternative. They put Milan prestige into the mud

  1. So Bournemouth would potentially have a mandatory requirement to buy in a window where Madrid have a 12M option on him…..

Gets more confusing by the report

  2. Why are we giving up on this player??

We Had such high hopes then all of a sudden he’s trash and want to sell???

So we listen to Max when he wants to sell (sometimes) but not when he wants to buy? LOL

    We are lost

    1. From beginning he was never ACM player but Real Madrid, they have buyback clause 12m euro. Nico Paz in Como also back to RM in 2026 after they activate buyback, there is nothing Como can do because Paz already inform to Como about his desire to play for RM. Jimenez will replacing carvajal in future and of course he will choose RM his boyhood club than ACM

  3. This guy is a good player selling him is not a wise decision, keep him for at least another season.

    1. but the player has bad behaviour like you people in this blog

In Italy its not tolerated, he was just lucky with a passive coach last year
