Tuttosport: Brahim Diaz will be available to face Empoli but is not expected to start

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli can breathe a sigh of relief regarding Brahim Diaz but he is unlikely to risk him from the start on Friday.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) recalls that the Spaniard was forced off during Sunday’s 4-0 win over Napoli after feeling discomfort in his right thigh, but luckily his condition is not a concern.

Brahim is feeling better and therefore will be available for the match against Empoli on Friday night at San Siro, but it is unlikely that he will start the game from the first minute, especially in view of the two legs that are coming up against Napoli on April 12 and 18.

According to the paper, Pioli should give Alexis Saelemaekers a chance from the first minute, who came on and did very well against Napoli even scoring his first league goal of the season after an excellent dribble.
